Exhibitions Curated > "Territories," Marwen Foundation, Chicago (April 1–May 14, 2011)

Emerging and established artists—from Chicago, New York, and abroad—defend, rebuke, distort, and lovingly misrepresent their own claims to space and place in the Untitled Gallery at Marwen. Territories is organized by Arielle Bielak. Guest curator is Julia Hendrickson; guest designer is Scott Reinhard; guest artist is Theaster Gates. Artists participating in Territories include J. Austin Eddy, Maria Gaspar, Erika Hess, Ryan Ingebritson, Anne Elizabeth Moore, Matt Nichols, B. Ingrid Olson, Josué Pellot, Suzanne Caporeal, Kevin Reiswig, Jessica Taylor and Rustél Weiss.
